[Ubuntu] 未來 Ubuntu 可能會變成"滾動式更新"(rolling release)

 Canonical 核心團隊經理(Leann Ogasawara) 最近在 G+ Hangout 上表示 Ubuntu 可能會在 14.04 的版本開始"滾動式更新"模式，目前這個還在討論中，不過這件事應該很有可能。

目前使用滾動式更新的Linux Distros 比較常見的有 ArchLinux, Chakra....

使用 Sysinternals 這一套工具蠻久了，不過，一直沒有好好整理一下用法，今天剛好看到 iThome有篇關於 Sysinternals 的文章，就把它記錄下來；雖然已經是 2007 的文章了，不過，我覺得過5年的時間，仍然值得大家一看，內容即在到在 Windows 8  的機器上還是沒有過時的感覺。

Ubuntu 12.04 底下用 apt 安裝 Eclipse

昨天在 Ubuntu 12.04 底下用 apt 安裝 Eclipse，結果一執行卻出現錯誤訊息。看了一下記錄的 log 內容，顯示

java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: Could not load SWT library. Reasons:

    no swt-gtk-3740 in java.library.path

    no swt-gtk in java.library.path

    Can't load library: /home/btman/.swt/lib/linux/x86/libswt-gtk-3740.so

    Can't load library: /home/btman/.swt/lib/linux/x86/libswt-gtk.so

看字面上的意思是指沒有 SWT 的程式庫，找了一下網路資料，果然是和 SWT 有關，不過不是沒有安裝，而是 Eclipse 找的路徑沒有，所以就直接

ln -s /usr/lib/jni/libswt-* ~/.swt/lib/linux/x86/

把 SWT 的程式庫連結到 ~/.swt/lib/linux/x86 底下，重新執行就正常了。

註：x64 的平台請改用

ln -s /usr/lib/jni/libswt-* ~/.swt/lib/linux/x86_64/

Start it now with this command:

dconf-editor &

Head to org >> gnome >> desktop >> interface, then in the left pane of the window, locate "cursor-size" which has a default value of 24.
